NVRDC's 4th Annual Event Promoting Progress

  • Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP 1333 New Hampshire Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20036 United States (map)

NVRDC's 4th Annual Event, Promoting Progress: Innovation in Advocacy is a celebration of our organization's growth over the last three years in serving victims of all types of crime in the District of Columbia.

Thanks to our generous supporters and sponsors, we have successfully provided legal and case management services to over 1,500 victims of crime in DC at no cost to our clients.

Help support the future of these services for crime victims in our city. All of the funds raised at Promoting Progress directly contribute to NVRDC’s wraparound legal and case management services that improve a survivor’s experience following the impact of crime—ultimately leading to safer and stronger communities.

Event Includes: Guest speaker, Renee Mitchell, an award-winning poet, performer, and social justice advocate based out of Portland, OR. Featuring the Share Your Story art exhibit created by survivors of crime to share their stories of recovery, a wonderful silent auction, and fun!
