This includes, but is not limited to, information and representation in reporting the crime, assistance with navigating the criminal investigation process, and enforcing crime victims’ rights throughout prosecutorial proceedings.

CIVIL PROTECTION ORDERS (CPO) & Anti-Stalking Orders

Are you a survivor of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking? Do you have safety concerns? We can help!

Our lawyers offer free legal assistance and representation for survivors ages 13+ seeking a Civil Protection Order (“CPO”) or Anti-Stalking Order (ASO) in DC Superior Court.

What are civil protection orders and anti-stalking orders? CPOs and ASOs are 2-year orders from a judge that forbid someone from committing crimes against you, contacting you, or coming near you. CPOs can also can include a variety of other orders related to custody, child support, property damage, or ordering the person who harmed you to vacate the residence.

TITLE IX & CLERY ACT

Are you a DC college or university student? Are you a survivor of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, dating violence, or stalking? Interested in filing a Title IX complaint in your school? We can help!
