Cornhole for a Cause 2017

Join us on July 22 for NVRDC's 5th annual cornhole tournament: Cornhole for a Cause 2017! Hosted by the Network for Victim Recovery of DC and Monocacy Brewing Company, the event's proceeds will go directly toward NVRDC's comprehensive, holistic services for crime victims in DC.

You and a friend can enter as a team or you can just come to watch and enjoy the event. Teams will compete in a double elimination-style tournament with prizes for the winning teams! Prize baskets include items like gift certificates to great local restaurants like The Pub & The People and H Street Country Club.

Date: Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 2pm to 7pm
LocationThe Tavern in the Mary Graydon Center, American University, Washington, DC
Ticket Types:
Tournament Team - $80

  • Gets one team of two people into the tournament, 2 beer tickets per person, and food.

Individual Spectator - $25

  • Gets one individual entry into the event, 2 beer tickets, and food.

Designated Driver - $10

  • One individual entry into the event and food.


Please note that this event is open only to individuals 21+.

Drink tickets with team entries and individual spectator tickets will feature some of Monocacy's great local beers. Additional drink tickets are available for purchase for individuals holding Team and Spectator Tickets (no alcohol will be served to Designated Drivers). 

Ticket sales will close at midnight on Friday, July 21 and will not be sold the day of the event or at the door.

Preventing and responding to sexual violence is everyone's responsibility, however, alcohol is often used in the perpetration of sexual assault. Please drink responsibly and join us in this event to raise money for sexual assault response services.
